Get Away (also known as Svalta), comes from the dark comedic mind of Nick Frost and is a horror-comedy following the British Smith family on a holiday to the remote Swedish island of Svalta. Their vacation turns violent when they are met with local hostility, only for it to be revealed the family is not entirely innocent.
The score was written to celebrate period horrors from the 70s with the emphasis on dark orchestral themes but with it’s tongue firmly in it’s cheek. An absolute joy to write and we’re very privileged to have scored one of Nick Frost’s scripts, helmed by the brilliant Dutch director Steffan Haars.
