What They Found (2025) is a BBC documentary directed by Sam Mendes that documents the April 1945 liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. It features restored 35mm footage shot by British Army photographers Sgt. Mike Lewis and Sgt. Bill Lawrie, paired with 1980s audio interviews, providing a deeply personal, haunting, and unvarnished account of the Holocaust's horrors.

The film combines silent, graphic footage of the camp—including mass graves and liberated survivors—with the voices of Lewis and Lawrie reflecting on the trauma they witnessed decades later.

It serves as vital proof against Holocaust denial, emphasizing the immediate shock and lasting impact on the soldiers who first entered the camp.

We were honoured to be asked to contribute two short pieces of music for the project which subtly wove sounds of the camera reels that recoded the atrocities into the minimal score.
